A Strong Foundation For Future Learning
All young people are happier if they can read with enjoyment and write with confidence. They enjoy a more successful social and working life if they can speak with clarity and listen with understanding.
The middle years of education are crucial. Instead of rushing students toward exam pressure, our Key Stage 3 curriculum is designed to lay a broad, inspiring foundation for Key Stage 4 and post-16 education. Whether through our live, 'cameras on' small-group classes or our flexible, independent learning modules, our high expectations and highly personalised feedback ensure students achieve their very best while genuinely enjoying the learning process.

Perspectives and Skillsbuilders

Live, interactive, weekly classes mapped to the National Curriculum. From Foundation English (Years 7/8) through to our dedicated 'Transition to IGCSE' course, we help students become confident 'reading detectives' and purposeful writers.
Sometimes we need to step back and ask why. Our Perspectives course encourages critical thinking across sociology, history, and philosophy. For students needing targeted literacy support, our Skills Builders classes provide individualised intervention.
Engaging, 6-week independent learning modules designed to spark curiosity. From 'The Witch Craze' in History to introductory modules in Film and Media, these standalone units are perfect for pursuing new interests.

'My daughter has just started the course with Nexus and is really enjoying it. The weekly class is small with nice interaction and really great tutor.'
AF, Parent

'My child...has come on leaps and bounds in a topic she doesn't naturally enjoy. Laura creates such vivid and inspiring lessons that she completely forgets she doesn’t enjoy the subject and comes out of lessons buzzing each week...'
